About CCT

Chabod Community Theater (CCT) was created to provide a place for people of all ages in the Lancaster County area, to have a true theatrical experience by participating in full-length dramas and musicals! It’s a safe place to learn how to develop your acting skills, while having fun at the same time! CCT is open to both amateur and experienced actors.

"It was years ago in high school that I developed a love for acting. I had a wonderful coach and teacher that believed in me.  I was given a chance to be in plays and musicals, and had a couple of lead roles.    I started believing in myself and realized that I had a gift that was valuable.  From that moment on I was “addicted”. Since high school, I have acted in and directed many dramas and musicals. I love watching students develop their talents and then come alive on stage. Being a part of a cast, working together, and becoming family to produce a show is life changing.

We have a great production team with Stan Deen taking the lead as the director.  He has been an inspiration to us all here at Chabod. He has an ability to pull everything together without stress, to produce an incredible show! Here at Chabod, he has directed “The Music Man”, “It’s A Wonderful Life” , and “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers”. We are looking forward to a great 2011/2012 season here at CCT and would love for you to come out and be a part of it, whether on stage or in the audience!"
