Drawing I ages 13 - 18
Drawing is a teachable subject and everyone can learn to draw! Students will learn how to really "see" their subject and use many techniques in their drawings. This course will cover proportion, scale, perspective and shading. Students will use a variety of media such as graphite, charcoal, colored pencil, and pastels to create exciting drawings.
Multicultural Art Experience ages 10 - 13
Exposing students to art from all over the world brings them the wonder of art in all its many forms. Students will gain an appreciation of diverse art forms as well as an understanding of other cultures through the arts. They will use this experience as a springboard for their own personal expression. Art from West Africa, Israel, Europe, the Americas and other countries will be explored. |
